Every time I see a flimsy plastic bag on the road I feel nothing but disgust! Last week while I was driving on the highway, a bag flew my way and then disappeared. When I parked in my garage it was adhered to my front grill. I’M lucky that it didn’t plaster itself on my windshield instead. Do we really need the hundreds of wasteful bags that we throw away every year? I applaud the effort of many retailers who sell non woven tote bags at their sales counters. Trader Joe’s food chain even does a weekly raffle to reward eco -minded customers who use their reusable shopping bags with a shopping stipend.
